Revolution Name Still Alive

I thought that the revolution name was completely replaced by the Wii name but I guess I was wrong. Because on every Wii game the letters "RVL" are printed in the Model #. The first picture is of the original Nintendo next-gen system called the Revolution. The Wii is very similar only a few small changes on the face buttons. The second picture is a high resolution pic of my Wii sports disc with the Model # circled.

The RVL stand for Revolution, you can see this on all Wii discs.
